Proposal tour Borneo / Kalimantan

DAY 1:
arrival at the airport on the island of Kalimantan Sepinggan. It is about 4.5 kilometers
east of Balikpapan. The same day of your arrival a representative will accompany you to LOA Janan to take a boat cruise very special because the boat is shaped like a houseboat on the River. He starts moving traffic on the great river that is called MAHAKAM (also known by the name of Kuta). With its 760 kilometers of the course is the third longest river in Indonesia.
Lunch and dinner will be served on board.

DAY 2:
Muara MUNTAI arrival in the morning and reach a beautiful wooden bridge, from which you can see the daily life of the people DAYAK. The physical characteristics of the ancient Dayak testify mixing elements of Chinese, Malaysian and negritos. Continue the journey by canoe along the river to go to MANCONG to explore the ancient village of the Dayak with their traditional houses which are called EDGES MANCONG and can also see the traditional dance that is called Dayak BENUAQ. Visiting this village of the indigenous Dayak settled along the rivers of Kalimantan is an ideal way to discover the incredible culture of a country where older people are engaged in traditional medicine and show their status with the body covered with tattoos and heavy ornamentation of the ears. We return by boat and continue cruising on the river continuing to OHONG. Along the river you can spot many animals in the trees near the crossing of imbarcazioni.Tantissime monkeys are the typical long nose (proboscis monkey).

Day 3:
We reach the village of Kenyah DAYAK. And 'this very special village: all women have ear lobes that reach the ground and beyond! To achieve these results, women use large and heavy earrings.
Then we continue the cruise and return to Balikpapan.
Return to hotel.

Day 4:
After breakfast we leave for Muara Koman. Village very interesting especially for the cultivation of orchids.

DAY 5:
After breakfast at hotel, we visit the village to see BARARAWA
their traditional activities carried out by using the very macete and attend the dance
traditional Dayak upau.Proseguiamo the trip by stopping in other villages and LOKSADO NAGAR.
Overnight one night a LOKSADO.

DAY 6:
A day of trekking on Mount MERATUS to see the waterfall. Return to resort
passing through a bridge made from the roots of the trees.

DAY 7:
AMANDIT excursion to the river, we reach the river and rafting do with canoes
bamboo through the rainforest. At the end we'll see in a place which is called CEMPAKA people looking for diamonds using traditional methods.
The village of TAMBELA reach the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 8:
After breakfast we go to see a village which is called
Readmission Kanan near the lake. There is a beautiful panorama of the mountains surrounding the lake. In this village is very interesting to go visit the place where people build traditional wooden boats. During this excursion will be many different species of birds sighted. We continue our tour to the city of Banjarmasin, where we will stay at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9:
After breakfast, the day takes place to visit a traditional market that floats
on the River. Then we continue to take SAMPIT where rooms in a hotel for the night.

DAY 10:
Breakfast and go directly to a safari with a traditional boat
of wood. Cross natural and charming corners have the opportunity to see so many animals, including a variety of birds, along the way we cross three traditional villages. The night is expected to spend on the boat, equipped with simple but comfortable beds, even dinner is served on board.

DAY 11:
Continue the cruise and after about 2 hours to arrive LEAKEY. There are many tango orangutans of Borneo. We continue through the rainforest and we stopped in a specialized center for rehabilitation of orangutans tango. We can also do trekking in the forest to see and photograph closely tango orangutans, monkeys of Gibbon, the various birds and monkeys black.
Spend the afternoon at the rehabilitation center to assist with the care and feeding of monkeys.
We return by boat and continue cruising to PANGKALAN BUN.
Dinner and overnight on the boat.

DAY 12:
After breakfast on the boat, we have free time before going to the airport to Pangkalan bun for noon and run all the procedures to take the flight for subsequent destinations.
